ServDock ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ServDock platform at servdock.com and app.servdock.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our scheduling and booking services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, business name, and password when you register.
  • Booking information: appointment details, customer names, emails, phone numbers, and notes submitted through booking forms.
  • Calendar data: if you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events and free/busy information to prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • Payment information: payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
  • Usage data: basic analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the booking platform.
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notifications.
  • To sync appointments with your connected calendars.
  • To process payments through our payment provider (Stripe).
  • To communicate service updates and support requests.

4. Google Calendar Integration

When you connect your Google Calendar, we request access to read your calendar events and create/update/delete events related to bookings. We use this data solely for:

  • Checking your availability to prevent double-bookings.
  • Creating calendar events for confirmed bookings.
  • Updating or removing events when bookings are modified or cancelled.

Your Google Calendar data is encrypted at rest and is never shared with third parties. You can disconnect your calendar at any time from the Integrations settings page.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within the European Union. We use encryption for sensitive data including OAuth tokens (AES-256-GCM) and passwords (bcrypt hashing). All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe: for payment processing.
  • Google: for calendar integration (only when you connect your calendar).
  • Email providers: for sending transactional emails (booking confirmations, etc.).

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
